Worked out again with Boaz this morning. My arms are already sore, and I am certain I will be hating life tomorrow. Wednesday was chest and biceps, and I never knew how many muscles went into typing! I didn't stop hurting until Saturday. This morning, we worked on back and triceps. Now, I need to get back into cardio workouts.
I am in Scottsdale now for work, and I will be learning how to prep and cement metal crowns. Not really something I feel is all that necessary, but it is required by the college, so I will have to just suck it up and do it. I'm staying at one of those extended stay suites, and it is rather cozy. I called around, and LA Fitness is just down the road and offers weekly memberships. It's pretty expensive, but I think I might do it. This area isn't really conducive to running outdoors. In fact, when I first mapped things out, I thought the hotel was 1.5 miles from the practice. I had planned on running into work, but now that I see the place, this is not a good idea. Oh, and it's actually closer to 2.5-3 miles.
Dinner tonight was a little frightening. I probably should have eaten at the airport, but I was anxious to pick up my car and get to the hotel before dark. It's amazing the difference daylight savings makes. I am renting a Prius (chose that over the Subaru Outback wagon and a few other models). Wow, it really is in a class of its own. Quiet and smooth. Anyway, after checking in, I noticed a Pizza Hut across the parking lot. Decided to explore a little farther and ran into Tokyo Express. This place is a bit scary. I wouldn't eat the sushi there, but I did get the curry over rice. It was OK - tasted just like the mixes I get at the Korean grocery.
So, I will still need to find a place to go for SDN(TM). Maybe Thai...
