Checking in

I know no one actually reads this blog, but I'm trying to be better about keeping it up. So, the workouts were derailed for a bit due to more travels. The good news is that the traveling resulted in job offers!! Yes, more than one, and I still have one last interview before I feel I can sign a contract. I've made my decision, but there's still that small technicality.

So big changes are coming! I will be finishing up the residency in July, staying through most of August, then moving to Massachusetts. I will likely be buying a condo in Boston rather than living in the land of suburban soccer moms. I've already flown one cat (Keira) home to Philly, and Casey will be going on this next trip. Emma will stay with me until August, when I plan on flying out to sign the final contract and start settling in (I hope!)

I worked out yesterday with Boaz, and my inner thighs are sore. I really need to get back to running, but the air quality has been terrible here due to some fires. In fact, on my way back from Best Buy this afternoon. I saw a small fire on the barrier on the highway. I actually used the 911 function on my phone for the first (and hopefully last!) time.
